We employ a time-of-year pricing policy offering significant discounts during our off-peak times. Specifically July through December. We do not post our exact rates online to keep our competitive edge, please inquire for specifics.
Being part of a registered educational charity you can seek sponsorship for our visit. How this works is that you find a willing donor, they donate the funds to cover the visit and they receive a charitable tax receipt while you receive the programming at no charge. We are also constantly seeking grant funding to cover the costs of our programming. Normally successful grant applications are promoted on our social media channels. Be sure to follow us.
All our programming is conducted onsite. We come to you. For schools or camps this means no bus costs.
For community groups and seniors facilities we can work almost anywhere. We can work outside but we do request an indoor back-up location. Specifications vary depending on your programme focus. Inquire for more details.
If you do not have a location for your event let us know as we have locations we are partnered with that you can consider booking.
- How many students depends on the workshop we are conducting. Here is a simple guideline for you:
- • Hands-On History - half-day - 40 to 60 students
- • Grade 6 Game Show - half-day - 40 to 80 students
- • Full-day Festival - 60 to 120 students (there are some limitations depending on the 4 sessions chosen)
- • Historical Dance - half or full-day - depends on the capacity of the space we are working in. In a classroom 30 to 50, in a gym we have worked with over 100 at one time. A half-day workshop is normally 3 sessions, a full-day workshop is normally 5 or 6 sessions.
- • Fencing 101 - half or full-day - 20 students per session based on how much equipment we have. A half-day workshop is normally 3 sessions, a full-day workshop is normally 5 or 6 sessions. This can be customized to fit your needs. Sessions can be longer, thus we would have fewer sessions per day.
- • Drumming from Around the World - half or full-day - 30 students per session based on how much equipment we can bring. A half-day workshop is normally 3 sessions, a full-day workshop is normally 5 or 6 sessions. This can be customized to fit your needs. Sessions can be longer, thus we would have fewer sessions per day.
- • Stage Combat - 20 to 50 students per session, depending on space. If we are conducting our armed combat sessions we are limited to the number of swords we have available which is currently 25.
- • World History - 20 to 50 students per session, depending on space.

Yes. All the equipment and artifacts we bring for our programming are accurate reproductions. Same weight, same dimensions, same materials, just not from the specific historical time period (those should be in a museum). None of the reproduction weapons are sharp to ensure safety during the historical martial arts demonstrations.
